My name is Stella Drapkin and I'm 17 years old. I have been playing the bass and the ukulele since 6th grade. It was around that time that I started working with Scotty and Madison Meadow Music Studio. Since then I have been in several bands (one with Scotty called Bella Steel), opened for the Sugar Beets at their 25th anniversary show at the MacDonald Theater, started teaching my own guitar and ukulele lessons, and I am currently the bassist for the South Eugene High School's vocal jazz ensemble, The Dorians. I can say with complete honesty that I wouldn't be where I am today, had the opportunities that I've had, met the most influential and important people in my life, and I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I hadn't been a part of the Madison Meadow Music Studio community. I am planning on pursuing a career in music after high school, whether that be a gigging musician or a music therapist but I know that music will always be a huge part of my life.
