Scotty & Jack and the set list from the first Sugar Beets show Jack played as a second keyboardist

"Hey team! My name is Jack Logan McGaughey, and I am a singer, songwriter, arranger, musician, and actor from Eugene, Oregon :) You can find me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/jackloganmusic or on  Twitter @jackloganmusic and also Instagram: @jackloganmusic"

Jack has studied piano, bass, and drums with at Madison Meadow Music ever since meeting Scotty at the Imagine That summer camp when he was ten. He hit the ground running, and never looked back. He dove headfirst into his lessons, showing up wanting to learn a different Elvis song every week, and the next thing you know he was developing his own boogie-woogie style in the Jerry Lee Lewis tradition. Which was *perfect* when, seven years later, Scotty needed to train a substitute keyboardist for the Sugar Beets gigs that he might not be able to make with his increasingly full schedule now that his international and outdoor music camps are becoming a reality. And now that he knows all the songs, he's up there playing side-by-side with Scotty as 2nd Keyboardist for the "big shows" :)

Jack is also one of Scotty's trained "assistant coaches" for The Music Compass' Outdoor Family Music Camps and other workshops and seminars for all ages, including this summer's offering at Little Lava Lake from July 28-30.

Jack is planning studying music in college next fall, majoring in popular music and keyboard performance, with options boiling down to places as diverse as Miami, Florida and Liverpool England. And he was *just* crowned as the WINNER of his his high school's annual "Mr. Spartan" pageant, helping his classmates raise over $62,000 for the Children's Miracle Network's effort to provide urgent care for premature infants for all who need it, regardless of income.

Jack is truly a "class act" if there ever was one. His incredible talent is rivaled only by his quality of character, and Scotty is regularly fond of describing of describing him as "one of those people you want to sit your own kid down next to, if only just to soak up some of that good stuff by osmosis!"

Congratulations Jack! You are a true representative of what the Heart and Soul of The Music Compass™ is all about!

Jack has been studying piano with Scotty at Madison Meadow Music ever since they met at Imagine That camp when Jack was 10. Jack hit the ground running and never looked back. He started out by coming to
